The work arises out of the enquiry of self and questions of identity, displacement, negotiating multiple spaces and living the contradictions of growing up in a western world within a progressive Indian community yet deeply rooted in traditional value systems.

The work which emerges from the enquiry of self, moves away from the personal and experiential to the historical, geopolitical and social terrain.
